Rodrigo Alves, a Brazilian father and mother, had the name Rodrigo Alves when Alves was 30 July 1983, and was living in Sao Paulo. The father of her daughter, Roserval Alves, hailed from a Portuguese family which arrived in Brazil in the 1940s. The family initially was in the farming trade but they later expanded their business activities to include shopping centres and real estate. Alves was just five years old at the time her grandfather gifted to her Barbie dolls. While Alves was identified as a male at birth, she was female from "the the age of 3 and four, five, six" she perceived herself to be female. She played with dolls and cross-dressed. Alves is of the opinion that it is not appropriate to identify people with their gender. [8] She was shy, and bullied throughout childhood. Alves had hormone issues when she was a teenager. The hormone imbalance was too high. estrogen in her body, which caused her breast tissue and other organs to grow. They also had a tendency to target her other characteristics. Alves is the daughter of a family who owns a number of Brazilian grocery shops, making them wealthy. But, Alves is yet to gain any profit from these stores as of 2018. 10 Alves was able to move to London when she was 18 which is where she studied public relations at the London College of Communication. She was born to a maternal grandmother who left her funds.
