Antonia Lofaso

Chef Antonia Lofaso's food is an opportunity to delve into the depths of her personal world. Curiosity grew in her after she left for the Long Island suburbs to explore the rich cultural diversity of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and carnetas are, according to her, able to exist together on the exact same menu. Her taste is constantly developing. However, what is consistent with her food is an unifying vision of the future, while also reminiscing about the old. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013, and it was well-received. The old-fashioned Italian version is regarded as one of Los Angeles' most captivating eateries. Lofaso is consistently highly acclaimed by patrons of Scopa's for serving food that feels authentic and unmistakably enjoyable. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary with sophisticated cooking techniques. But, she didn't hesitate to take extreme risks in order to respect her own instincts. She quickly climbed the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago and then went on to revamp several high-profile kitchens located in Los Angeles while working closely with numerous celebrities. In 2011, Lofaso partnered with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to open Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. The Lofaso is now settling within Black Market, and through the alliances she made. Her creative independence could be enhanced through this collaboration. Black Market does not have any one specific direction, which is the reason why it was created. It would start with potato chips flavored with dill Shishito peppers and continue with Korean Wings. Antonia's vibrant flavors are the base of these bold flavors. Throughout her career Lofaso has measured her achievements through her ability to connect with her viewers while staying true to her own personality. Her memorable performances on Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars showed her unique personality in the cooking area. Her talents are visible in her frequent appearances as a judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge, and on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and the ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso published The Busy Mom's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious Recipes in 2012, with Penguin. It also told the story of her challenges when she was a student in The French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea, as well. Lofaso says that her passion in cooking is the primary for her accomplishments. She continues to be on top of things through keeping a keen eye on trends and fashion. She is revolutionizing her industry's style by redefining chef's attire with a focus on style and function, through her brand Chefletics. Lofaso's main concern is to remain committed to her goals. In this regard she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. This will provide clients with an incredibly personal experience.
